Hi, and welcome to Starberry Lane!

I am so happy you are here. Since this is my very first blog post, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce myself, share a little about how Starberry Lane began, and tell you what you can expect to find in my shop.

I am a mom, a maker, a law student, and the person behind every Starberry Lane creation. I have always loved sewing and the feeling of watching a piece of fabric slowly turn into something beautiful and useful. There is something so rewarding about choosing the perfect print, pairing it with a coordinating fabric, and seeing the whole design come together at my sewing machine.

Starberry Lane grew from that love of creating.

Why I Started Starberry Lane

I wanted to build a shop that gave me the freedom to sew pieces that felt joyful, useful, and a little different from what you might find in a typical store.

I have always been drawn to beautiful fabrics, especially prints that feel whimsical, nostalgic, feminine, playful, or unexpected. I love finding a fabric that immediately gives me an idea and imagining the handmade bag or accessory it could become.

Starberry Lane is a place where I can bring those ideas to life.

Every item is handmade by me, one at a time. I select the fabrics, cut the pieces, quilt the layers, sew everything together, and add the finishing details. From the first cut of fabric to the final stitch, each piece passes through my hands.

My hope is that you can feel that care when you receive something from my shop.

What You Will Find at Starberry Lane

At Starberry Lane, you will find handmade quilted tote bags, mini bags, fabric accessories, key fobs, and other small batch creations designed for everyday life. I am also working on a line of sustainable fabric toys for children.

I want my products to be practical, but I also want them to feel special. A tote bag should carry everything you need, but it can also feature a print that makes you smile every time you pick it up. My shop will contain various sizes for various needs! A small fabric accessory can help keep you organized while still showing off your personality.

My products are made with 100 percent cotton fabric, including soft quilting cotton in carefully chosen prints. I love adding details such as coordinating linings, interior pockets, comfortable handles, and quilted textures.

Made in Small Batches

Because I make everything myself, many Starberry Lane products will be available in small quantities.

Sometimes I may only have enough fabric to create a few bags in a particular print. Other designs may be part of a seasonal collection or a special shop release. Once a fabric is gone, I may not always be able to find it again.

I think that is one of the things that makes shopping handmade so special. You are not choosing something that was produced by the thousands. You are receiving a piece that was thoughtfully made in a small batch by a real person who truly cares about the finished product.

Who Starberry Lane Is For

Starberry Lane is for anyone who believes everyday items can be both useful and beautiful.

It is for the person who loves charming prints, soft quilted textures, vintage inspired details, colorful accessories, and pieces that feel like they have a story behind them.

My handmade bags and accessories are designed to be carried to work, school, the farmers market, the library, family outings, or anywhere else your day may take you. They also make meaningful handmade gifts for moms, daughters, friends, teachers, and anyone who appreciates something created with care.

More than anything, I want Starberry Lane to feel warm, welcoming, and full of personality.
